Yes, unlikely to harm anything but very small crustaceans

Compatibility:
Peaceful, mixes well with most other fish, avoid mixing with aggressive or greedy species as these will prevent food reaching the bottom. Does not mix well with other Jawfish

Other information.
With its electric blue spots this is a much sought after fish. It is known to jump, so make sure the aquarium is covered. Prefers a deep bed of sand as they like to make a burrow, make sure that this activity will not cause unstable rocks to fall. Not a great deal is known about this Jawfish, but like others it is very likely that it incubates eggs in its mouth
