Feeding:
Will eat most frozen foods including Plankton, Spirulina enriched Brineshrimp and Mysis. Will take dried foods when settled, will benefit from being fed algae.

Reef safe:
Generally, reef safe, if kept well fed.

Compatibility:
Usually mixes well with other peaceful fish of a similar size. Best kept singularly, as they will often bully their own kind if kept together for long periods, even when kept in large aquariums.

Other information.
Good fish for algae control, as they eat many types of algae, although they won't differentiate between micro and macro algae. S.unimaculatus has a black spot on its body, this is absent S.vulpinnis. All Foxface have venomous dorsal spines, handle with care.

Our marine fish are hand picked from TMC and rested on our premises for at least 7 days and guaranteed feeding before being offered for sale.

All marine fish are only available for collection and payment in store. We are happy to reserve a fish in stock for up to 5 days. However, this will still be shown on our website until collected. Fish not collected within the specified period will be offered for sale without further notice.
