Easy-moderate

Feeding:
Will eat frozen Mysis & Spirulina enriched Brineshrimp, will take dried foods readily when settled. Appreciates some vegetable matter e.g. dried seaweed. Will need small frequent feedings to maintain weight.

Reef safe:
Considered reef safe. Will graze on algae

Compatibility:
Like many Tangs can be aggressive to newcomers once established. Don't keep with other fish of a similar body shape or colouration, but should mix well with other similar size fish. Although this fish naturally forms shoals in the wild, best just to keep one per aquarium

Other information.
Juwel Tangs are very active swimmers, ensure the aquarium has plenty of open space. They come from the edges of reefs so appreciate lots of water movement. The Jewel Tang is one of the less frequently seen Tangs in the hobby.

Our Tangs are hand picked from TMC and rested on our premises for at least 7 days and guaranteed feeding before being offered for sale.
