Live Daphnia are freshwater crustaceans around 1-3 mm in diameter that naturally occur ponds.

Live Daphnia is suitable for feeding virtually all freshwater fish. It is excellent for getting finicky species to feed, as well as a treat for other fish. It is particularly suited to Goldfish, and frequent feeding may help prevent swim bladder disorders in fancy varieties.

Live Daphnia is supplied in a sealed bag, but sizes and amounts may vary from bag to bag. Our photo shows the contents of a typical bag. It is best to strain the contents through a fine net prior to use so transit water is not introduced in to the aquarium.
